volunteers - we need you!

All families are asked to donate thirty hours per year of their time to volunteer. Thank you so much for that time and support! Each pair of hands helps, and makes student programs possible. Never doubt how deeply your help is appreciated. The vast majority of jobs are simple, and help build our community.

Volunteer needs are communicated regularly through the weekly d.tech newsletter. Some requests repeat frequently, and some are new. Grade level representatives also reach out to each grade to help fill spots.

CURRENTLY THE SCHOOL NEEDS…

  • Student Orientations (New Student & All student)

  • Sports Supervision (mostly basketball and volleyball home games)

  • Student event supervision (movie nights, freshmen mixer, festivals, grade level field trips)

  • Senior Events (Senior sunrise, senior sunset, graduation)

  • Host X Period Activity -Tuesday/Thursdays (2:25-3:35pm)

  • Staff Appreciation Week (May 5-9)

  • Lunch Supervision (11:30am-12:10pm)

  • Transportation during Intersession (2 weeks- October/November, February, April/May)

  • Teaching an class for Intersession (2 weeks- October/November, February, April/May)

  • Internship Mentor during Intersession (2 weeks- October/November, February, April/May)

Live Scan, TB & Driver Volunteer Requirements

Interested in volunteering at d.tech? Thank you for your willingness to help out! As a public school, there are several documents you’ll need to read/agree to/submit before working with our students. These can be found on our Volunteer Requirements Form. Please complete the form if you’d like to volunteer.
